The Miami Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) provides support for Pilot Grants in HIV/AIDS research.

Request for Applications (RFAs)

This year the Miami CFAR and the Institute of AIDS & Emerging Infectious Diseases (State of Florida funded) is pleased to announce a joint request for applications (RFA) for Pilot Awards in HIV/AIDS research of approximately $50,000 each, in Direct Costs.


  • Speed Review (optional) April 4th, 2018
  • LOI – Due April 2nd, 2018 by 5pm
  • Full Application – Due April 23rd, 2018 by 5pm
  • Funding decisions announced by May 2018
